Getting Here
Staying Here - Other B&Bs we recommend
If you want to explore the Cowichan Valley, with its beautiful vistas and wineries, we recommend you take time out to stay with Colin & Gloria in their beautiful waterfront home. They are a fifty minute drive from the Bay B&B. This is also a good place to stay on your way to (or from) Tofino and the North Island. Mention that Nick & Maggi sent you! |
Sooke is an interesting place to visit and Al and Sheila's B&B is a great place to stay overnight. They are a walk away from Sooke Harbour House, the award winning restaurant on the waterfront. From Sooke, you can also explore the West Coast to Port Renfrew and the West Coast Trail along the way. |

The Canadian TV weather channel site for Victoria. It has a longer range forecast than the Environment Canada site, which can be useful for trip planning. |
The Environment Canada site that shows the ranking of 100 Canadian cities by different weather criteria. Some fascinating information, e.g. Victoria has the mildest weather and lowest snowfall in Canada, is 7th in the country for the warmest spring. Spend a fun few minutes comparing Victoria's weather to your home town! |
A fun little site operated by a network of Victoria schools, with weather monitors on their roofs. Data shows how the temperature can vary across a small area - mainly the moderating influence of the ocean. Great real-time display of the temperature differences between downtown and the Saanich Peninsula |
