Environment Canada rates Victoria as #1 in the country for Cities with the Most Comfortable Weather
They were determined by selecting 23 "comfortable" weather categories, including the mildest winter, spring and fall; the most sunshine; the lightest winds and the lowest humidity. Canada's West Coast is well known for its balmy climate, and it is not surprising that Victoria and Nanaimo B.C. tied for first place as the cities with the most comfortable weather in Canada.
September 2011: Now Closed
We are sorry to say that our B&B has closed.
After six fun and successful years, it is time
for us to move on to
other challenges.
We are happy to have hosted so many interesting guests from all over
the world; we appreciate their kind comments, both in our
guest books
and online via TripAdvisor. They helped us to be rated in
the top ten percent of B&Bs in Victoria, B.C and to help us make the
“TripAdvisor Recommended” list for 2010 and 2011.
We still urge potential visitors to B.C and Vancouver Island to visit
the Victoria area. We are leaving our “Things to Do” and “Useful
Links” tabs active, so as to help you with your travel
planning.
While we are no longer accepting guests, we recommend Gazebo Bed &
Breakfast (http://www.gazebo-victoria.com/), near to our location.
So long and thanks for all the fish!
Regards, Nick & Maggi Woodiwiss.
